Advion® Insect Granular Bait 450g by Syngenta contains indoxacarb 0.22% is insecticide commonly used in public health pest control. It belongs to a class of chemicals known as oxadiazines, which target insect nervous systems and are effective against a variety of insect pests. Indoxacarb acts as a sodium channel blocker, disrupting the normal functioning of nerve cells in insects, ultimately leading to paralysis and death
Baiting Programs:
Indoxacarb-based baits can be used to control ants, cockroaches, and other social insects in public health pest control programs. These baits are attractive to pests and contain a lethal dose of indoxacarb, which is ingested by the insects and subsequently spread among colony members, leading to population reduction
