Water Lily Nymphaea “King of Siam”
King of Siam water lily have rich purple color flowers, mirroring that of water hyacinth. The flowers stand about 20 cm above the water surface and get a size of 10 – 17 cm across. They open in the morning and close by sundown, during June to September. Like many hybrids the ‘King of Siam’ water lily is sterile, which means that the plant will not set seeds. The plant can spread vegetatively downstream, however, so it is important to be cautious about the spread of plant material in streams and waterways. Deliverable
